Who we are

Derek Bolt Fitness LLC ("Derek Bolt Fitness", "we", "us") runs Derek Bolt's online coaching, this website and the Instagram account @derekboltfit. Questions about this policy go to [email protected].

What we collect

• This website. The site sets no cookies and has no advertising trackers. Our host, Cloudflare, processes standard technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver and protect the site.
• Coaching applications. Your name, email address and the answers you give, such as your training history, goals, and any health information or photos you choose to share.
• Instagram comments. When you comment the word COACH on one of our Instagram posts, Instagram tells our app about it: your Instagram account ID, your username, the comment text and the post it's on.
• Coaching clients. What you share during coaching, such as check-ins, measurements, photos and food logs, is kept in our coaching app (Trainerize) and in our own records.

How we use it

• We use a COACH comment only to send you one private message with our coaching application link. One message per comment, and nothing else unless you write back.
• We use application answers only to reply to your application and, if you sign up, to coach you.
• We use client information only to deliver your coaching and keep the records a business has to keep.

We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with advertisers.

Who processes it

Only the services that run this business: Cloudflare (website hosting and email), Jotform (the application form), Meta (Instagram comments and messages), Trainerize (the coaching app) and our payment processor. Each handles your information under its own privacy terms. We share information with anyone else only if the law requires it.

Health information

You decide what health information to share. We use it only to plan and adjust your coaching, and we never share it for any other purpose.

How long we keep it

• Comment notifications from Instagram (your username and comment text): 30 days.
• A record that we already replied to a comment (the comment ID and your Instagram account ID, so we never message you twice): 90 days.
• Coaching applications: as long as we need to respond to you and, if you sign up, to coach you, or until you ask us to delete them.
• Coaching records: while you're coaching with us, then only as long as tax and business records require.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you at any time. To delete it, follow the steps on our data deletion page. You can stop Instagram messages from us at any time by blocking or unfollowing @derekboltfit.

Age

Coaching is for adults 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
